...... BEMOAIR Flight
School began its activities in June 1991 at Benešov Airport with
two Z-43 aircraft, which had been purchased in Moravan Otrokovice. At
that time the school operated as a center of BEMO Stock Company -
from which its name was derived. The space for aircraft housing was
rented from the Air Special Company for the period from 1991 to summer
1993. Within the years 1992-3 a new hangar and an operational building
were constructed and from that time on the whole company has been
developing even faster. New ULL aircraft, gliders and sport aircraft
have been purchased, our repair
workshop has been gradually equipped and has
received the Aviation Repair Center Certificate ( for the ability to
repair and maintain all aircraft in our school ) from the Office of
Civil Aviation. The development of all kinds of flight activities ( except parachutism ) expanded in 1992 from Benešov also to Brno-Tuřany, where the part of our school had already been operating in order to provide the CPL and PPL IFR pilot training. In 1993 the school became part of Bemoinvest Ltd. Company, where it also operated as one of its centers. In 1999 the school aimed its activities towards obtaining a certificate for pilot training according to JAR-FCL ( European rules ). We received this certificate on January 1st, 2001 under ref. No. CZ/FTO-002 Since 1st January 2003 the BEMOAIR flight school has been operating as an independent legal subject and still cooperating with Bemoinvest Ltd. Company. The list of our students and pilots now comprises more than 250 clients {PPL(A) and CPL(A) training more than 150 pilots. Out of this number 35 are now in training process }. Our school has annually an amount of more than 2 600 flight hours on engine-powered aircraft. We also had more than 1 000 flying hours on gliders, but at present we do not provide glider training. Our goal is to provide, fully and with the highest level of quality, the engine-powered aircraft training due to its ever increasing popularity. This kind of training completes the ULL training, in which we are still interested, very well. In 2001 recently we have purchased a modern ULL aircraft KP2U "Sova", which with retractable landing gear, adjustable propeller and cruising speed over 200 km/h well competes Zlín and Cessna sport aircraft. We have also bought two aircraft for the PPL and CPL training from USA ( Maule M-5-210C and Cessna C-152 ). In 2003 we had a Czech plane L-40 "Meta Sokol" rebuilt and since June 2003 it has become our new aircraft-family member flight at Benešov airport. In 2004 we have purchased next plane Cessna type C-150. Our aircraft fleet is presented in section "Photogallery". .........................COME TO FLY WITH US!
